Iran president to go on three-nation tour tomorrow

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will embark on a three-nation tour to Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan on Tuesday.
The president will visit Afghanistan upon the official and repeated invitation of his Afghan counterpart Hamid Karzai.
The two presidents will discuss major bilateral, regional and international issues.
Later on Tuesday, President Ahmadinejad will leave Kabul for Ashkhabad, Turkmenistan, in response to the last June visit to Tehran of his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov.
It is expected that several agreements to be signed by Iranian and Turkmen officials on cooperation in the fields of commerce, dam building and radio and television projects.
President Ahmadinejad will leave Ashkhabad for Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on Thursday to attend the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
In addition to his address to the SCO Summit, President Ahmadinejad will hold separate meetings with officials from the SCO member states on the sidelines of the Summit.
Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will attend the summit as the founding members of the SCO.
Iran and Mongolia take part in the regional event as observers.
